WILDWOOD – Wildwood High School girls’ basketball standout Maddie McCracken scored her 1,000th career point in the Lady Warriors’ home game on Jan. 20. The milestone was scored on a free throw in the fourth quarter.
McCracken led the team with 20 points in their 56-28 loss against Jenkintown, Pa. The junior finished the game with exactly 1,000 points.
Teammates Tracey Young and Leah Benichou added the additional eight points.
The Lady Warriors stand at 8-3 on the season and will play at Gloucester County Institute of Technology on Jan. 22.
