Lower Township Registering Youth Basketball, Wrestling

VILLAS – Lower Township Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registrations for its youth wrestling program.
Practices and matches are held at the Richard M. Teitelman School. Children in grades one through six are eligible for the wrestling program. Two levels are available to participants: beginner and advanced.
The program requires some travel to matches.
Registrations are also being accepted for youth basketball. All practices and games are held at the Lower Township Recreation Center, 2600 Bayshore Rd, Villas.
Boys in kindergarten through sixth grade are eligible for the program as are girls from kindergarten through eighth grade.
League breakdown is: co-ed kindergarten, co-ed first and second grades, co-ed third and fourth grades, fifth and sixth grade boys and fifth through eighth grade girls.
Registration for programs is held at the Lower Township Recreation Center, Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
Fees for Lower Township residents are $15 for one child, $25 for two children and $30 for three or more children.
Fees for non-residents are $20 for one child, $30 for two children and $35 for three or more children.
