VILLAS – Students will use full HD Handycam video cameras to learn how to shoot dynamic video. No experience is necessary, according to instructor Gina Bronson, a teacher of TV media at Lower Cape May Regional High School.
Once camera operation is mastered, students will be introduced to video editing software including IMovie and Final Cut Pro X. The A/V program will focus on using our surroundings to make age-appropriate movies.
The edited videos will be shown at the end of the 12-week program. Editing will be performed on state of the art 21.5” Apple Mac Computers.
All equipment and instruction is included in the course fee.
Registration will be held for students in grades 4, 5 and 6, Sept. 16 through Sept. 23 and is on a first come first serve basis.
There is a fee per child for the 12-week class. All classes will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the recreation center beginning Oct. 3, 2018.
Register for both programs are held at the Lower Township Recreation Center, located behind Lower Township Hall in the municipal complex at 2600 Bayshore Road.
