Lower Offering Winter Sports Programs

VILLAS – Lower Township Department of Parks and Recreation is offering youth wrestling and basketball as part of its winter sports programs.
Registrations for youth wrestling are currently being accepted. All practices and matches will be held at the Richard M. Teitelman School. Children in grades first through sixth are eligible for this program.
There are two levels offered: beginner and advanced. Travel is expected as part of this program for some matches.
Registrations for youth basketball are currently being accepted. All practices and games will be held at the Lower Township Recreation Center.
Boys in kindergarten through sixth and girls in K-eighth grades are eligible for this program. League breakdown are as follows: coed kindergarten, coed first-second grades, coed third-fourth grades, fifth-sixth grade boys and fifth-eighth grade girls.
