Ten area gymnasts who train at the Art of Gymnastics & Cheer located in Cape May Court House recently competed at the USAIGC Gymnastics Competition held at Flyer’s Academy in Hammonton, New Jersey. These girls train several days a week and below are some of the highlights of their results from this past week’s meet:
Emma Szambelak of Cape May Court House, 8.4 on floor exercise; Breanna Bell of Somers Point, 8.5 on vault; Sophia Vitelli of Lower Township, 8.8 on floor exercise; Violet Vitelli of Lower Township, 8.65 on vault; Morgan Flickenger of Cape May, 9.0 on bars; Kaylee Schwert of Seaville, 9.3 on vault; Destiny Edwards of Cape May Court House, 9.3 on floor exercise; Haylie Rowlands of Cape May Court House, 9.35 on vault; Sophie Wilber of Wildwood, 9.3 on floor exercise; Daniella Oliver of Cape May Court House, 9.45 on floor exercise.
Many of the gymnasts placed top three in their events and top three in the all-around division!
