Life Rolls On Golf Tourney Set

CAPE MAY — Cape May National Golf Course will host the fifth annual Life Rolls On East Coast Golf Tournament on Sept 25. Since the inaugural tournament in 2006, over $109,000 has been raised for the organization.
Life Rolls On, a division of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for young people affected by spinal cord injury and utilizes action sports as a platform to inspire infinite possibilities despite paralysis. Life Rolls On: Instilling in people that life with SCI, indeed, rolls on.
The golf tournament begins at 1 p.m., golfers are encouraged to pre-register online www.liferollson.org/njgolf or same day registration at the course beginning at 11:30 am. Sponsorships are available, Individual golfers $150, or foursomes $600.
The Harbor View Restaurant on Ocean Drive will host the awards/after party beginning at 6pm, the fundraiser is open to golfers, sponsors, participants, volunteers, and non-golfers. There will be silent auction items, raffles, and Live Music from 6-10pm.
Monies from this and other fundraisers are used to organize our flagship program, They Will Surf Again. TWSA is an adaptive surfing program for those with spinal cord injury and a life-changing volunteer experience for all. It’s not all about the surfing, it’s about proving that anything is possible.
