Boys’ Soccer
On Sept. 20, Wildwood tied Gloucester Catholic 1-1 in double overtime. Will Helm scored the equalizer while Josh Marsden made 22 saves for the Warriors.
On Sept. 21, Ocean City hosted Absegami and won, 4-1. Mike Saul, Luke Varallo, Logan Bloomstead and Andrew Tomaino each scored for the Red Raiders. Middle Township won 5-0 on the road at Cedar Creek. Trent Canter scored 3 goals for the Panthers while Brendan Forrest added 2 goals. Wildwood Catholic won 3-1 at home against Vineland. Tyler Mericle, Beck Lindsay and Jarred Wallace each scored for the Crusaders. Lower Cape May drew 2-2 in double overtime at home against Oakcrest. Tony Genaro and Kadin Donahue each scored for the Caper Tigers. Cape May Tech fell 5-2 at Bridgeton. Owen Prickett scored both goals for the Hawks.

On Sept. 21, Lower Cape May fell 1-0 at Oakcrest. Marissa Giancola made 14 saves for the Caper Tigers. Middle Township fell 2-1 at home against Cedar Creek. Kira Sides scored for the Panthers. Wildwood Catholic fell 7-0 on the road at Vineland. Lauren Moretti made 24 saves for the Crusaders.
On Sept. 22, Wildwood fell 8-2 at Triton. Mackenzie and Maddie McCracken scored for the Warriors.
Field Hockey
On Sept. 20, Middle Township won 11-1 at Holy Spirit. Jenna Herlihy led the Panthers with 3 goals. Ocean City won 8-0 at home against Egg Harbor Township. Rialee Allen led the Red Raiders with 3 goals.
On Sept. 21, Lower Cape May won 2-0 on the road at Holy Spirit. Leah Jones and Julia Cook each scored for the Caper Tigers. Middle Township won 4-0 at Cedar Creek. Jenna Herlihy scored 2 goals for the Panthers while Gia Conte and Caroline Gallagher each added a goal. Ocean City won 10-0 at home against Vineland. Rialee Allen scored 4 goals for the Red Raiders.
On Sept. 23, Middle Township hosted Atlantic City and won, 7-2. Jenna Herlihy and Skylar Gentillini each scored 3 goals for the Panthers. Lower Cape May hosted Absegami and fell, 4-2. Emma Stango and Julia Hinker each scored for the Caper Tigers.
Girls’ Tennis
On Sept. 20, Ocean City won 4-1 at Buena Regional. Middle Township fell 4-1 at home against Cedar Creek. Wildwood fell 5-0 at home to Glassboro.
On Sept. 22, Middle Township fell 5-0 at home against Egg Harbor Township.
On Sept. 23, Wildwood Catholic won 3-2 at Pleasantville. Lower Cape May hosted Holy Spirit and fell, 4-1. Ocean City hosted Mainland and fell, 5-0.
Cross Country
In boys’ race action on Sept. 20, Middle Township won 38-22 at Cape May Tech. Jack Gombar of the Hawks finished first and the Panthers’ Rob Giulian finished second. Mark Nelson and Will Berger placed in the top two spots in Lower Cape May’s tri-meet with Pleasantville and Holy Spirit. Chris Johnson placed third in Wildwood Catholic’s tri-meet with Buena Regional and Cedar Creek. Korey Green, Jake Davis and Jesse Schweizer placed in the top three in Ocean City’s tri-meet with Egg Harbor Township and St. Augustine Prep.
In girls’ race action on Sept. 20, Middle Township won 34-22 at Cape May Tech. Anika Buchanan placed first for the Panthers and Jayne Seitz placed second for the Hawks. Christina Adams placed first in Lower Cape May’s tri-meet with Holy Spirit and Pleasantville. Alicia Forrest placed fourth in Wildwood Catholic’s tri-meet with Buena Regional and Cedar Creek. Alexa Weber and Mickey Baker placed in the top two spots Ocean City’s 32-24 loss to Egg Harbor Township.
On Sept. 23, Lower Cape May’s Mark Nelson and Christina Adams defended their Big Five Cross Country Championships individual titles. Cape May Tech won the boys team championship and Wildwood Catholic won the girls team championship.
