Lower Cape May downed Cedar Creek, 4-1. Madie Gibson scored three goals
In boys’ soccer, Middle spanked Holy Spirit, 8-1. Trent Canter and Christian Rafter scored twice.
Cedar Creek edged Lower, 2-1. Oscar Nunez scored.
Ocean City defeated Cumberland, 2-0. Donnie VanMeter and Tommy Matera scored.
Wildwood edged GCIT, 3-2. Jared Irwin scored twice.
In Oct. 7 field hockey, Lower shut down Buena, 7-0. Melissa Brown scored twice.
OC routed ‘gami, 13-0. Jordan Allegretto, Rialee Allen and Lauren McNally scored twice.
In girls’ soccer, Mainland knotted OC, 0-0. Arianna Segich stopped 10 shots.
In boys’ soccer, OC topped Mainland, 3-0. Donnie VanMeter scored the hat trick.
In Oct. 9 field hockey, Middle topped Lower, 1-0. Abby Thompson scored.

In boys’ soccer, Middle edged Catholic, 2-1. Mike Roselli and Tom Williams scored. Jared Wallace scored for the Crusaders.

In Oct. 10 boys’ soccer, Pleasantville edged Middle, 5-4. Joe Fala scored a hat trick.
Lower stopped Holy Spirit, 5-0. Griffin Crowley and Michael Holden scored two each.
Wildwood Catholic shut down Cape Tech, 6-0. Jared Williams scored twice.
Pitman stopped Wildwood, 4-1. Jared Irwin scored.
In football, EHT edged OC, 17-14. Jeremiah Jackson and Decian McGuigan scored.
Oakcrest shut down Lower, 35-0.
In girls’ soccer, Middle defeated OLMA, 2-0. Abby Stahler and Rachel Wade scored.
Pitman shut out Wildwood, 5-0.
In Oct. 11 football, Middle pounded Bristol, 44-17. Zhiair Bland ran for 178 yards and scored three touchdowns. QB Joe Durso tossed for two scores including an 83-yarder to Jimmy Versage and a 23-yard strike to Erik Arenberg.
