Baseball:
On May 5, Ocean City fell 2-1 at Vineland. Josh Arnold had eight strike-outs for the Red Raiders.
On May 9, Middle Township won 6-3 at home against Wildwood Catholic. Joe Fulford went three-for-three with four RBIs for the Panthers. Erv Bogan had four strike-outs for the Crusaders. Ocean City won 6-3 at home to Atlantic City. Josh Arnold hit a two-run homerun for the Red Raiders.
Softball:
On May 5, Wildwood Catholic won 10-0 at home against Bridgeton. Kaci Gallagher hit a home-run and had three RBIs for the Crusaders. Middle Township won 13-0 on the road at Pleasantville.
On May 9, Middle Township won 8-1 at Wildwood Catholic. Lower Cape May fell 19-2 at home to St. Joseph. Ocean City won 6-4 at home over Oakcrest. Wildwood fell 11-2 at home against Gloucester.
Boys Lacrosse:
On May 5, Ocean City won 11-10 to rival CAL competitor Mainland. Jeremiah Johnson led the Red Raiders with five goals, including the game winner.
On May 6, Ocean City won 19-9 at Egg Harbor Township. Jeremiah Johnson led the Red Raiders with nine goals.
On May 7, Middle Township hosted Cinnaminson and won, 16-4. Dimitri Terenik led the Panthers with five goals and Matt Kirkland had eighteen saves.
On May 9, Middle Township won 18-3 at home against Vineland. Ocean City won 20-6 at Cedar Creek, clinching the CAL title. Lower Cape May won 14-3 at home against Atlantic City.
Girls Lacrosse:
On May 5, Middle Township won 21-10 against rival Lower Cape May. Bridget Ruskey led the Panthers with seven goals. Devon Blackley led the Caper Tigers with three goals. Ocean City fell 12-11 to Mainland. Four players led the Red Raiders with two goals apiece.
On May 6, Lower Cape May hosted Oakcrest and won, 18-11. Devon Blackley scored her 100th career goal and led the Caper Tigers with six goals.
On May 7, Middle Township fell at home to West Deptford, 17-8. Jenna Herlihy led the Panthers with four goals.
On May 9, Ocean City won 18-5 at home against Cedar Creek. Rialee Allen scored her 100th career goal in the Red Raiders win. Middle Township won 18-6 at Millville. Lower Cape May won 12-9 at Atlantic City.
Golf:
On May 3, Middle Township won 172-184 over rival Lower Cape May. The Panthers’ Mike Roselli, Miranda Mangano and Peter Conlin each had birdies. Matt MacFeat had a birdie for the Caper Tigers. Wildwood Catholic won 174-199 at home to Holy Spirit. Jake Ferry led the Crusaders with a 39.
On May 5, Lower Cape May won 173-205 to rival Cape May Tech. Justin Lewis led with a 37 and a birdie for the Caper Tigers. Matt Laing had a 49 for the Hawks.
On May 6, Middle Township won 178-184 against rival Cape May Tech. Sean McMullen had a 38 for the Panthers. Josh Musick had a 40 and two birdies for the Hawks.
On May 9, Lower Cape May won 169-257 at home against Bridgeton. Middle Township won 160-208 at home against Holy Spirit. Cape May Tech won against Cedar Creek and St. Joseph; Cape May Tech 178, St. Joseph 188, Cedar Creek 204. Wildwood fell 174-239 at West Deptford. Wildwood Catholic won 183-200 at Buena Regional.
Boys Tennis:
On May 6, Middle Township hosted Holy Spirit and won, 5-0.
On May 9, Wildwood fell 5-0 at home against Gloucester Catholic.
Track & Field:
On May 3, the Ocean City girls track team won 72.5-67.5 at home to Egg Harbor Township. The Red Raider girls took first place in eight events. The Ocean City boys fell to Egg Harbor Township, 98-42. The Red Raider boys took first place in three events.
