Baseball
In April 13 action, Ocean City impressed with a 5-1 victory over St. Augustine. Sean Mooney struck out 15.
Cape Tech stopped Medford Tech, 10-0. Wil Winter connected for three hits.
Middle Township humbled Bridgeton, 11-0. Erik Arenberg had two hits. Dave Salvo drove in three runs.
In April 15 games, St. Joseph’s defeated Middle, 7-6. Jimmy Versage smacked two doubles.
Cedar Creek shut down Wildwood Catholic, 11-0.
Gloucester Catholic defeated Wildwood, 8-3. Chris Mormile smacked two doubles.
OC doubled up Vineland, 4-2. Dominic Fiorentino homered and doubled.
In April 17 games, Erik Arenberg tossed a no-hitter as Middle defeated Wildwood Catholic, 6-0. He struck out five and walked three. Jimmy Versage doubled twice. Tyler Norris struck out seven for the Crusaders.
St. Joseph’s stopped Lower, 10-0. Mike Laing struck out four.
Cape May Tech defeated Pleasantville, 11-3. Wil Winter and Steve Bond each doubled and singled.
Wildwood defeated Gloucester City, 12-4. Anthony Korobellis drove in four runs.
Softball
In April 13 games, Ocean City drilled Atlantic City, 10-0. Rachael Zeides doubled and tripled.
In April 15 games, St. Joseph shut down Middle, 10-0.
Cedar Creek downed Wildwood Catholic, 16-1.
Cape May Tech defeated Burlington County Tech, 12-6. Jaclyn Gehring whiffed eight.
Wildwood topped Pleasantville, 25-0. Claudia Melchiorre hit a grand slam.
In April 17 games, Middle edged Wildwood Catholic, 6-5. Lauren Novsak had three hits. Casey Manera had three hits for the Crusaders.
Gloucester City shut out Wildwood, 12-0. Natalee Colon tripled.
Boys’ Lacrosse
In April 13 contests, Cole Blackley scored three goals and three assists as Lower topped Vineland, 16-3.
Ocean City whipped Holy Spirit, 16-1. Owen Dierolf scored four goals and four assists.
Absegami defeated Middle, 13-8.
In April 15 play, Oakcrest defeated Middle, 5-3. Thompson DeMarco scored his 100th goal.
Lower downed Holy Spirit, 17-2. Tom Kripfgans scored four goals.
Ocean City toppled Vineland, 14-0. Dylan Fahy scored five goals.
In April 17 games, Middle downed Lower, 14-2. Jack Denis scored his 200th career goal on his way to nine scores on the day.
Ocean City edged Mainland, 9-8, in overtime. Kyle Conrad forced overtime and Dillon Fehy netted the game-winner.
Girls’ Lacrosse
In April 13 games, Madie Gibson scored three goals as Lower topped Millville, 12-8.
Middle spanked Absegami, 21-8. Bridget Ruskey scored seven goals.
Ocean City overwhelmed Holy Spirit, 18-1. Mikala Gillespie scored five goals.
In April 15 action, Lower defeated Holy Spirit, 21-6. Ashley Hunt, Logan Walter and Madie Gibson scored five goals.
Middle doubled up Oakcrest, 18-9. Bridget Ruskey scored eight goals.
OC beat Millville, 19-9. Lexie Sharp and Kristi Rohrer scored four goals each.
In April 17 games, Ocean City whipped Mainland, 21-6. Mikala Gillespie scored six goals.
