High School Scores: April 1-4

Boys Lacrosse
On March 30, Lower Cape May officially opened up their season with a 15-1 win over Cinnaminson. Cole Blackley led the Caper Tigers with six goals and James Cella had eight saves in net. Chris Boyle earned his first win as head coach.
On April 1, Middle Township opened up their season with a 12-6 win over Egg Harbor Township. Dimitri Terenik led the Panthers with five goals and freshman Matt Kirkland had ten saves in net. CJ Walters earned his first win as head coach. Ocean City hosted rival Lower Cape May and won, 12-4. Jeremiah Johnson led the Red Raiders with three goals. Jarryd Hill led the Caper Tigers with three goals.
On April 4, Middle Township fell to host Bishop Eustace, 11-1.
Girls Lacrosse
On April 1, Middle Township hosted Egg Harbor Township and won, 16-6. Bridget Ruskey led the Panthers with eight goals on opening day. Ocean City won 17-4 on the road at rival Lower Cape May. Danielle Donoghue led the Red Raiders with four goals. Ashley Hunt led the Caper tigers with two goals. 
Track & Field
On April 2 at the Jim Camburn Relays, Steven James of Ocean City won the large javelin. Quinn Bithell of Lower Cape May won the girls 400 small hurdles and the small long jump. Michaela Baker, Meredith Steele, Alexa Weber and Emma Bergman of Ocean City won the 4×800 large relay.
On April 4, the Middle Township boys track and field team earned two wins against St. Joseph and Holy Spirit, winning 76-58 and 87-52, respectively. The Middle Township girls came out victorious winning 111-37 against St. Joseph and 87-40 against Holy Spirit.
Baseball
On opening day of the baseball season, Lower Cape May won 16-12 on the road at Buena Regional.
On April 4, Cape May Tech hosted rival Middle Township and won, 8-1.
Softball
On April 4, Lower Cape May hosted Buena Regional and fell, 19-2.
Boys Tennis
On April 4, Lower Cape May opened up their season against Egg Harbor Township and fell, 4-1. Zac Lambert had a win for the Caper Tigers.
Golf
On April 1, host Ocean City fell 163-168 St. Augustine Prep.
On April 4, Lower Cape May won on the road at St. Joseph, 178-179. Cape May Tech hosted Millville and won, 179-193. Wildwood hosted Clayton and fell, 221-236.
