Greater Wildwood Little League seeks volunteer directors.
WILDWOOD — Greater Wildwood Little League is seeking volunteers to serve on its board of direcetors.
What is required?
According to a release:
“A passion to serve the children of the Greater Wildwoods in growing to respect, love and learn the game of baseball/softball while working with them to become our outstanding citizens of tomorrow.
“A willingness to be a part of a team that leads our children by example and to work with a group for the common good of the program.”
Board members must attend at least nine (of 12) monthly meetings per year.
A background check is required.
All that is asked is a letter of one’s volunteer experience, if any, and why the person would like to serve the children of the island community.
