Global Premier Soccer New Jersey will hold tryouts for the 2016-2017 season this April. Tryouts for girls’ teams will take place on Fridays, April 8, 15 and 22 from 6-7:30 p.m. Tryouts for boys’ teams will take place on Saturdays, April 9, 16 and 23 from 9-10:30 a.m. All tryouts will take place at Tyler Davis Fields, 10 Sunset Dr., Woodbine.
These tryouts are for players on existing teams AND players who are not currently affiliated with the club. Players born between 1999 (U18) and 2010 (U7) are welcome to attend.
Players will be identified by their year of birth. Previously, players were identified by school year (beginning in August). Now, players are identified by calendar year (beginning in January). This is a shift mandated by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). More information is available at www.ussoccer.com/coaching-education/resources/2015-player-development-initiatives.
