Father’s Day Bike Tour Set Sunday

WILDWOOD CREST — The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Greater Wildwood Tour-ism Improvement and Development Authority and the Wildwood Crest Tourism Development Commission, will host the fifth annual Centennial Wheelin’ The Wildwoods Bike Tour on Sun., June 20 at 8 a.m.
The tour is a fun, non-competitive event that offers the opportunity to experience many scenic areas of the Wildwoods through a 10-mile bike ride.
The Wheelin’ The Wildwoods Bike Tour is held on Fathers’ Day morning to help make this a true family event. Riders will get to experience ocean views, wetlands, the intercoastal waterway, the world-famous Wild-wood Boardwalk and more.
Race-day registration begins at 7 a.m., with the ride beginning at 8 a.m. A free post-event party will be held at the conclusion of the ride. Registration, the start and finish of the ride and the post-event party will take place at the Crest Pier Recreation Center at Heather Road and Ocean avenues.
Registration fee is $15. All Wheelin’ The Wildwoods participants will be treated to a wide array of amenities, including a Wheelin’ The Wildwoods T-shirt, entertainment, food and family fun.
