U8 2009 vs. BCSA 2009: The ‘09 girls played at home against BCSA 2009 in an action packed game filled with teamwork, possession, passing, and technical skills. Zoe Super, Parker Milstead, Lauren Davenport and Ciara Jonassaint were fantastic.
U9 2008 Storm at TBAA Wild: Katelyn Walker stopped all of TBAA’s shots in the first half and Sophia Smith scored seconds before the half ended. The girls came out after the break and turned it on with Gabriella Oliver netting 3 goals and Charlotte Rhubart adding another. Cata Manteca and Izzy Miller were outstanding on both offense and defense.
U11 2006 Girls White 1 vs. Moorestown Freedom 0: Kate Grier and Brooke Nabb pushed the defense, helping Tessa Hueber record the shutout in goal. Aspen Southard scored the lone goal of the game.
U11 2006 Blue 3 vs. Marlton Redhawks 0: The U11G Blue were home against the Marlton Redhawks. The team played an outstanding possession game which included keepers Grace Murphy, Reagan Flickinger and Nola Quinn. Goals were scored by Nola Quinn, Carmen O’Hara, and Reagan Gittle with assists by Gittle, Grace Repici and Carmen O’Hara. The girls are improving with each game and their level of play continues to develop.
U14 2003 Fusion 2 at Medford Diablos 0: The Diablos played tough and kept the game tied at zero well into the second half, before Kayla Kilroy’s corner kick found Elaina Nelson’s knee in the middle of the box and put Cape ahead for good. Allie Sutter added insurance a few minutes later with a blast from the right corner of the 18. Mckenna Gregory, Abby Ridgway and Skyla Bowyer kept Medford’s scoring chances to a few and Delaney Robb secured the shutout in goal.
Boys
U10 Yellow vs. Woodbury Outlaws: Only seven members of the yellow team traveled to Woodbury. Despite the skeleton crew, Cooper Daly led the yellow team with two goals. Chase Austin, Miles Stafford, and Landon Wallash chipped in a goal apiece as well.
U10 White vs. TBAA Revolution: Cape had goals by Josiel Lopez, Wyatt Hand, Ryan Davis, Joe Berrodin and Ryan McGrath. Connor Rowland held down the net.
U11 2006 Boys Blue 1 vs. Pemberton Heat 2: Cape took an early lead on a goal by Ryan Day. He was assisted by Aiden Foxx. Jake King and Branden Acevedo played well in goal.
U12 2005 Boys White 2 vs. Princeton FC Borussia 3: Steven Berrodin scored a goal in the first half assisted by Jacob Radzieta to tie the game. Princeton came out strong in the second half scoring two quick goals. Berrodin had a nice corner kick to Will Casterline who had an awesome head ball to score Cape’s second goal. Braden Brojakowski worked hard at midfield and provided nice passes to his teammates through the game. Tommy Shagren and Taj Turner were solid on defense.
U13 2004 0 vs. Medford Strikers 2: The Union boys played their best game of the year, but fell to some hard luck. The Cape defense of Mace Fiorucci and Austin Carr held the high powered Medford offense in check. Midfielders Brendan Davis, Daniel Kolb, and Dan Corkery provided numerous scoring chances, but the Union could not find the back of the net.
U18 99s 4 vs. Winslow Township Three Lions 1: The 99’s offense opened up after a stretch of scoreless struggles. Adam King scored first, followed by Beck Lindsay in the first half. Matt Brown scored midway through the second half for a 3-0 lead, and then Rakim Coyle put away a header off a Jared Wallace corner kick for the four goal lead. Garret Vliet did well in goal, only conceding one goal off of a highly questionable penalty kick call late in the game.
