U8 Storm vs. Haddonfield U8 Red: Cape Express Storm played an amazing game against Haddonfield Red. The team played great together. Ainsley Reed beautifully scored 2 goals in a row. Chloe Frame happily scored her first goal this season. Ciara Jonassaint had a wonderful game playing offense, defense and goalie. Maggie Davenport and Betsy Pappas did a tremendous job on the field.   

U10 Wolfpack vs. Medford Strikers: Great defense by Tessa Hueber, Cassidy Robb, and Ella Rulon. Awesome job in goal by Ava Vogdes and Ella McCabe. Kate Grier had an assist, to Olivia Sgrignioli, for a goal. Sofia  Sgrignioli had a goal too.  

U12 Sand Sharks 2 vs. Audubon Storm 2: After conceding an early goal, the Sand Sharks got on the board when Shannon Kavanagh blasted a shot inside the 18 past the keeper. Allie Sutter scored her first goal of the spring on a corner kick that the Audubon goalie mishandled and gave Cape the lead in the 2nd half. The defense played strong, but gave up a late goal to Audubon for the tie. 

U13 Comets 4 vs. Medford Strikers Spirit 0: Chloe Lawler dominated the pitch scoring a hat trick to lead the Comets to victory over the Spirit. Riley Fisher scored on an assist from Stephanie Carey. Jordan Dougherty added two assists. Victoria Hutchison and Mia Caso were standouts in midfield. Outside backs Shelby Repici and Carmen Licata, along with sweeper Isabella Aftanis shut down the Spirit attack. Brynn Bock added her fourth shutout of the spring.

 

Boys 

U16 99s 4 vs. Hibernian Fire-0: The 99s played their finest game of the season thus far, leading to a victory over visiting Hibernian. Matt Brown and Adam King each scored, while Beck Lindsay added two goals. Rakim Coyle was a rock defensively, while Matt Vodges came off the bench and played very well.  

U18 97/98 2 vs Voorhees 98s 1: On a very wet Sunday, to open the month of May, the 18’s traveled to Voorhees and won a hard-fought contest. Tim Brown scored the only goal of the first half. Voorhees got on the board 10 minutes into the second half to draw even, but Ty Pawling scored the game winner 10 minutes later, putting away a rebound off of a quality Joe Fala shot, from outside the 18 yard box. Robert Edmunds handled the wet conditions well in goal.
