U8 2009 vs. Mantua Monarchs: The 2009 Girls displayed an excellent first game against the Mantua Monarchs, filled with plenty of action, passing, and most importantly teamwork. Parker Milstead, Alison Walker, Emma Vince, and Savanah Rhubert had impressive showings.
U9 2008 Girls vs. Audubon Splash: The Storm played hard against the Splash. Ella Harkins did a great job as right wing and goalie. Aubrey Walters and Isabela Miller pushed hard on defense while Gabby Oliver and Charlotte Rhubart kept the ball moving towards the Splash’s goal.
U11 2006 Girls White 4 vs. TBAA Wildcats 1: The 06 Girls White opened season against TBAA Wildcats with a 4-1 win. Ashley Seigel and Alyssa Morrison pushed on defense. Sofia Sgrignioli led the offense with two goals. Ella Rulon and Aaliyah Jonassaint finished with goals for the win.
U11 2006 Blue 4 vs. Delran United 2: The Blue put on a display in an outstanding home opener, defeating Delran United 4-2. Sianna King (2) and Gracie Repici (2) pulled in the goals. Grace Murphy, Bella Lund, and Anna Delaney had the assists.
U14 2003 Fusion 2 vs. Cherry Hill FC Blaze 1: Allie Sutter started the scoring in the first half with an assist by Elaina Nelson. Delaney Robb kept Cherry Hill off the board in the first half with solid goalkeeping. The second half got going with a beautiful combination of give and go passes between Allie and Eva Dimitrov that sprung Eva for a one on one with Cherry Hill’s goalie. Eva calmly slotted it past for the game winner.
U15 Comets 1 vs. Toms River FC Sheffield United 1: Jordan Dougherty scored the equalizer for the Comets in the second half. Madelyn Kavanagh, Leah Shaw and Stephanie Carey provided pressure offensively. Carmen Licata, Shelby Repici and Mia Caso anchored the defense.
U16 Hurricanes 1 vs. US Parma Gold 2: The Hurricanes came up a bit short. All three goals in this game came off free kicks. Kira Sides scored on a PK late in the first half. On defense, Hadden Miller, Mia Rafter, and Kristal Stahler allowed zero shots on goal during live play in the game. New addition to the team Kelsey Andres dominated the midfield.
Boys
U10 2007 Blue vs. Woodstown Wolverines: Tyler Brown got the momentum rolling with a penalty goal, followed by shots from center midfield player Dominick Morrero. Amine Cheriffi and Adam Bouabbache formed a wall in their defensive positions, backed by goalie Ryan Gibson.
U10 2007 Boys White vs. Cohansey SC Venom: Joe Berrodin kept a clean sheet for Cape in the net. Colin Jastremski and Kelan Miller held the defense done. Philip Woodrow, Gavin Burns, and Ryan Davis all scored for Cape.
U11 2006 Blue 3 vs. Cinnaminson Sonics 1: Cape Express started the season with a win. Playing against the wind, Cape managed to be tied at 1 at the half on a goal by Branden Acevedo assisted by John Bumbernick. With the wind in the second half, Jake King started the scoring on an assist from Chase Adams. The scoring was closed out by Boussad Bouabbache on an assist by Justin Wen.
U11 White 2 vs. Medford Strikers 3: Goals were scored by Alex Avilla and Edward Hirsch. Dennis Serra had a great assist on the second goal. Simon Hardin and Dennis Serra played excellent in net.
U12 2005 Boys White 0 vs. Freehold SL Scorpions 2: Cape was led by offensive efforts from Jacob Radzieta, Jimmy Kane and Taj Turner. A strong defense was spearheaded by Toby Worster and Braden Brojakowski.
U12 Boys Blue 3 vs. Logan Twp. 2005 3: Trevor Magill started the game by scoring off a keeper deflection. In the same half, Magill scored again with an assist from Sawyer Lomax. Rayanne Cherifi scored in the second bringing the score to 3-2. Patrick Federiki and John McAllister played good defense throughout the game. Final score was tied at 3-3.
U13 2004 5 vs. Voorhees FC 0: First half goals by forwards Anthony Avila, Chile Adams and Matt Sgrignoli put the 2004 in the lead. Second half goals, by defenders Troy Genaro and Tom Carr iced the win.
U16 Cape Express Railhawks:
On March 25, 2017, the U-16 Cape Express Railhawks traveled to Bordentown, NJ, to compete in the TMT Spring Kick-Off Tournament. Competing in the U-17 bracket, the Railhawks began play by beating The Lakewood Crew 4-0. After a slow start the Railhawks took a 2-0 lead into halftime on goal scored by David Gardner and Onix Hernandez off assists from Owen Carlson and Brendan Bartha. Both players notched another goal the second half off assists from Hernandez and Henry Suoto. A strong defense was led by Jack McDonough, Pedro Guzman-Leiva, Tyler Rulon and Johnny Sanchez. Carson and Omar Fernandez combines in goal for the shut-out.
The Railhawks completed play with a 3-2 win over Patriot FC Blue U-16 team out of Eastern
Pennsylvania. The Railhawks began the scoring on a goal by Hernandez. The Patriots notched the score at 1-1 right before halftime. The Railhawks went up 3-1 on goal by Gardner and Hernandez. The Patriots narrowed the score on a late minute goal off a penalty kick. Offensive standouts for the Railhawks also included Cimen Burak, Conor Farrell, Gavin Quinn and Josh Medina. With the 3-2 win, the Railhawks clinched first place in the U-17 bracket.
