U8 2009 vs. Delran Bees: The 2009 Girls traveled to Delran and displayed excellent teamwork, passing, and excitement. Ciara Jonassaint, Parker Milstead, Ainsley Frederick, and Savannah Rhubert had great shots.
U9 2008 vs. Deptford Lady Hotspurs: The U9 girls had a tough game against the Lady Hotspurs. Sophia Smith scored early in the game. Defense was strong with Aubrey Walters and Meredith Lutjen. Goalie duties were shared with Ella Harkins and Katelyn Walker.
U9 2008 vs. South Harrison Sparks: Gabby Oliver had beautiful back to back goals early in the first half. Charlotte Rhubart and Kyra Murphy-McNeil both had great goals in the second half. Isabel Miller did an amazing job in defense while Maggie Farrell had some nice saves as goalie.
U11 2006 Blue 4 vs. Vineland Dynamos 1: 2006 Blue traveled to Vineland and brought home the 4-1. The CE girls possessed the ball beautifully and tactfully. Gracie Repici and Sianna King (1) were dynamic with their overlapping and technical skills. Carmen O’Hara and Reagan Flickinger crashed the net while Bella Lund, from center back, added a great shot. Unstoppable on defense were Maeve Farrell, Angelina Lorenzo, and Lund.
U11 2006 White 1 vs. Hamilton Wildcats 6: The U11 faced a tough match against the Wildcats. Kate Grier had the only goal for the team. Aspen Southward played her heart out on the field. Ashely Seigel had a shot on goal but was unlucky with it. Tessa Hueber and Brooke Nabb shared goalie duties for the game.
U12 2005 Union 4 vs. Franklin Township Red Storm 1: In the season’s home opener, Bryn Dougherty started the scoring in the first half with Franklin Township quickly tying the game. Ciara DiMauro, Maddy Monteleone, and Maddy Burnett each added to the final score with a goal each. The Union welcomed new teammate Kate Krautler as she contributed to the team’s success.
U14 2003 Fusion 1 vs. Delran Stars 3: Despite a first half own goal, Cape kept up the pressure in Delran’s end for most of the game. There were plenty of chances to score with gusting offshore winds at their back in the second half, but the only finish was off Eva Dimitrov’s cross put in by Ava Southard for her first goal of the spring.
Boys
U10 2007 Blue vs. Logan SC Lightning: Willie Tozour scored the first goal in the beginning of the second half with a beautiful crash to the net. Continuing the excitement, Dominick Morrero and Ryan Gibson followed with a goal each. Kallen Garagozzo played keeper the second half, with two great saves, one off the tip of his toe, which followed an exciting play down the field with great teamwork by defensive back Dante Jackson and mid-fielders.
U10 2007 Yellow vs. Harrison Sharks: Miles Stafford and Chase Austin kept the net clean today for yellow team. Gaven Andre, Aiden Hippen, Max Bracken, and RJ Blanda all netted goals for the yellow team on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
U10 2007 Boys White vs. Bordentown SC: After falling behind in the first half, Cape managed to dig deep in the second half. Scoring goals were Josiel Lopez, Phillip Woodrow (2) and Colin Jastremski. Ryan McGrath held down the midfield and Joe Berrodin was strong in goal.
U11 White 2 vs Cherry Hill FC Barcelona 0: Alex Avilla scored two unassisted goals. Dennis Serra and James Papanikolaou were solid in net. Kai Lindsay and Deron Azille controlled the midfield.
U12 2005 White 1 vs. Mainland United SA Mustangs 2: Cape came out strong with Brayden Brojakowski, Jacob Radzieta and Evan Merritt adding pressure on offense. Tommy Shagren and Jerome Licata were solid on defense for Cape as they went into the 2nd half tied 0-0. Mainland took the lead 1-0 in second half. Steven Berrodin made a brilliant run all the way from Cape’s defensive third of the field all the way in on goal to score the equalizer. Mainland scored the winning goal with a few minutes left in the contest.
U13 2004 1 vs. North Burlington Tornados 3: The Tornados came out strong against a flat 2004 squad and scored 3 goals in the first eight minutes. Strong midfield play from Dan Kotb, Riely Harring, Ryan Daugherty and defender Troy Genero held the Tornados without a shot on goal after the initial onslaught. Anthony Avila scored the 2004 only goal.
U18 99s 6 vs. Runnemede Renegades 0: The 99’s tallied 3 goals in the first half, followed by 3 in the second to secure the home victory. Beck Lindsay and Owen Prickett both scored twice, while Irving Fenochio and Tyler Mericle each scored once. Garret Vliet was sound in goal.
U18 99s 2 vs. Cherry Hill Pythons 1: 15 hours after defeating Runnemede, the 99’s recorded a solid road win against host Cherry Hill. Irving Fenochio scored his second goal of the weekend off of a header from a service by Beck Lindsay midway through the first half. Leading 1-0 in the second half, Matt Brown found a crashing Adam King off of a set piece who buried his one-timer past a sprawling keeper. The 99’s had the better of play throughout and minimized any opportunities for Cherry Hill.
