4-H Horse Council Open Horse Show October 23

The Cape May County 4-H Horse Council will hold a Fall Open Western Horse Show on Saturday, October 23rd, at 9:00 a.m., at the County 4-H Fairgrounds, on Courthouse-South Dennis Road, in Cape May Court House.
Western horse show divisions include walk-trot, senior walk-trot, novice, walk-trot games, open games, junior open (for riders 4th-12th grades) and senior open (for those out of high school and older). Leadline and future 4-Her classes are offered for riders 3rd grade and under as well as parents’ leadline and fun classes.
Ribbons will be given in all classes with prizes for first place and division winners. All riders are required to wear a safety helmet. There is a rain date set for October 30th.
The horse show entry fee is $30.00 per day or $8.00 per class if pre-registered with payment by 4:30 p.m. on October 22nd and $40.00 per day or $12.00 per class on the day of the show. Proceeds from the horse show will be used to fund 4-H equine educational activities.
The public is encouraged to attend this day of family fun and display of equestrian skill.

The 4-H Youth Development Program is part of Rutgers Cooperative Extension. 4-H educational programs are offered to all youth, grades K-13, on an age-appropriate basis, without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
