Powerlifting Team Sees Success at Competition

HAMMONTON – Members of the Lower Cape May Regional High School powerlifting team placed third overall at the high school powerlifting championships at St. Joseph High School on March 10.
Head Coach Mike Wilson has been working with the athletes in the weight room after school to prepare them for the competitors from high schools around South Jersey.
The competition was divided by weight class. First place finishers in their respective classes include Gannon Lowry and Joelle Kline with Brennan Ray, Matt Reilly and Jake Robb all taking second place. Seven Tigers placed third, including Kevin Ulmer, Izaah Richardson, Matt Craig, Wesley Tosto, Dave Tosto, Delaney Cluff and Dennis Cluff.
This marks the second year that Lower Cape May has participated in the powerlifting competition at St. Joseph.
