Nature Center to Hold Birdseed Sale, Feb. 1-2

By Sponsored Content

CAPE MAY – The cold and snowy winter has been especially hard on our feathered friends. Please remember to keep those feeders filled and in good repair. To that end, the Nature Center of Cape May, 1600 Delaware Avenue in Cape May, will be open this weekend from 10 until 2 on both Saturday and Sunday with plenty of birdseed, and new feeders if you need one. When you stop by the Center to buy your birdseed, remember to sign up for Pat Sutton’s first wildlife gardening workshop to be held on Feb. 8. These popular workshops sell out quickly so preregistration at the Nature Center is mandatory and will be limited to the first 20 participants.
Naturalist Sam Wilson’s Winter programs continue on Feb. 15 with Winter Ecology Part II. These free programs run from 9:30 to 10:30. Meet at the Cape May Library in Upper Township.
