WHITESBORO – Middle Township is hosting the first annual Spay/Neuter Community Awareness Day on Saturday, April 9 at the Martin Luther King Center in Whitesboro from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will kick off the township’s new spay neuter program for owned township pets. Details will be available. Attendees are asked to not bring pets with them.
“Our goal with this awareness day is to inform our residents of the many animal services that are available in our area and to provide valuable information about responsible pet ownership,” said Mayor Susan DeLanzo.
Scheduled vendors include: Animal Alliance; Animal Welfare Society; Cape May County Animal Shelter; Cape May County Dog Obedience Training Club; Cape May County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit; Cape May County Sheriff’s Department; McGruff the Crime Dog; Clermont Country Kennel; Croiters Feed; Daris; Middle Animal Control; Parkway Veterinary Hospital; Petsmart; Ruffing Ranch Doggie Day Care; Sandy Paws Pet Grooming; Smeltzer and Sons Feed & Pet Supplies; The Turtle Singer and Zoo Sitters.
