By Press Release

COURT HOUSE — Middle Township Mayor Michael Clark announced that Middle Township has scheduled a free rabies clinic for Sept. 29, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Middle Township Public Works, 400 W. Mechanic St. in Court House. This clinic will be for cats and dogs. Dog licenses will be available.
License forms may be printed in advance from the Middle Township website at www.middletownship.com.
If a dog needs a license and is current for its rabies vaccination owners should visit www.middletownship.com or call (609) 465-8732 for information on obtaining a license.
All dogs over 6 months of age must be licensed by Jan. 31 of each year.  A rabies vaccination, that is current until Nov.1 of the licensing year, is required to receive a license.
A dog that wears a proper license can be easily returned, free of charge, to its owner if it is found.
Recovering a lost dog at the shelter can cost the pet owner at least $45 while a one-year license costs under $12 and a three-year license costs less than $36.
The rabies clinic occurs as a dog census continues throughout the Township by the Middle Township Office of Animal Control.
There are a number of residents who have not yet licensed their dogs. Summonses are being issued for all unlicensed dogs. This clinic will be the last opportunity in 2018 to receive a free rabies vaccination for dogs or cats.
