STONE HARBOR — A dolphin washed up on Stone Harbor beaches this morning at 84th Street beach.
Police responded and were instructed to put the dolphin on its belly and pour water on it until the stranding center arrived.
They arrived at 8:10 a.m. today. The dolphin died about one hour later.
