County Residents Take Advantage of Special Services at County Animal Shelter in July

COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Animal Shelter & Adoption Center celebrated its seventh birthday this month by offering reduced adoption fees, free services and tours of the facility.
On July 15, 2011, the Animal Shelter and Adoption Center held an open house complete with refreshments and a tour of the facility. Also, through July 21st, all adoption fees will be cut in half. Adoption fees include spay/neuter procedures, microchipping, vaccinations and a free vet visit. Additionally, the Center offered free nail trimming and microchipping for cats and dogs.
The Cape May County Animal Shelter & Adoption Center is located at 110 Shelter Road in the Crest Haven Complex (exit 10 off the Garden State Parkway). The Shelter is open to the public Monday through Friday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
