Cape May County Zoo Welcomes Three Lemurs Displaced Due to Fire at Animal Kingdom

COURT HOUSE – Freeholder Director Daniel Beyel announced that the Cape May County Zoo has welcomed three Black and White Ruffed Lemurs in need of a temporary home. On Oct, 31, the Cape May County Zoo received the three Lemurs who are here on loan due to a devastating fire that occurred at the Animal Kingdom facility in Burlington County last month.
While here at the Cape May County Zoo, the Ruffed Lemurs will be on display next to the Howler Monkey exhibit.
Visit the Lemurs and all their new friends at the Cape May County Zoo from 10 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. daily. The free zoo, located in Cape May County Park Central, 707 Route 9 North in Cape May Court House, is open everyday except Christmas, weather permitting.
Mark your calendar and join us at the Cape May County Park and Zoo on Saturday, December 10th for “Santa’s Family Workshop. A free event complete with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
