By Sponsored Content

COURT HOUSE – The new female giraffe calf, born on Sept. 2, at 5:15 a.m., weighing 150 pounds and standing just under 6 feet tall, made her debut appearance at the Cape May County Zoo. In the pictures, she is seen here with mother Joanie (7), father Sterling (17) and two female Giraffes.
The new calf is the first giraffe to be born at the Cape May County Zoo in twelve years. You can now visit the zoo’s five Giraffes in the African Savanna. The calf will be spending more time in the viewing area as she becomes more acclimated to her surroundings on the Savannah.
