Animal Welfare Society to Hold Open House

COURT HOUSE – Animal Welfare Society is inviting animal lovers from throughout the county to an open house weekend Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 12-13, from 1 to 3 p.m. each day.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see the Society’s recent improvements, including a dog walk and a feline assisted living room. They also will learn about the new “Pet Food Bank” intended to help families sustain their pets during the recession, and will get acquainted with the Society’s animal friends.
The newly revamped site for animals that need a home is located at 40 Route 47 in the Dias Creek section of Middle Township.
