O.C. Girls Lax Wins Season Opener & More Results

COURT HOUSE – The lacrosse season officially opened with the Ocean City girls taking on rival Middle Township on the road on March 28. The Red Raiders won 22-9 for the first win of the season.
Emily DiMarino and Shannon O’Reilly led the visitors with six goals apiece. Danielle Donoghue added four goals and led the team with eight assists. Goalie Abbey Fenton made eleven saves for the Red Raiders.
Aubrey Hunter led the hosts with four goals and Kira Sides added three goals for the Panthers. Maggie Slavin made six saves.
Ocean City will return to action after spring break to host Cedar Creek on April 11 while the Panthers will look to get their first win when they travel to Cedar Creek on April 4.

The Ocean City boys lacrosse team blanked Middle Township, 18-0, at home on March 28. Christian Kuhn led the hosts with four goals.
The Lower Cape May boys lacrosse team fell, 14-2, at home against Mainland Regional. Chuckie Magill and Jack McNeal each scored for the Caper Tigers.
The Ocean City golf team won, 163-257, against Atlantic City at home.
The Lower Cape May golf team fell, 188-196, on the road at A.C.I.T.
