In Friday night wrestling action, Middle Township earned a nice 57-12 win at Burlington City. In the win, senior wrestler Gary James Nagle and head coach Matt Wolf celebrated career milestones.
Nagle became newest leader in career wins for the school with 89 while Wolf picked up his 100th win as head coach.
Nagle tied the previous win record of 88 wins held by 2009 grad Chris White on Jan. 31 in the team’s 42-36 win at Lakewood.
The Panther wrestling team has been having a tremendous season so far. As of Feb. 6, they are 15-4. Nagle and teammate Romeo Rodriguez lead the pack with 29-2 individual records and Austin Cominsky with a 27-4 record.
They will be taking on Oakcrest at home on Wednesday night.
