TRENTON – Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery executive director, announced that there were no Mega Millions game jackpot or second-tier New Jersey prizewinners for April 7 drawing. There were nine third-tier prizewinning tickets sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $5,000 prize. Three of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $25,000. The winning numbers for the April 7 drawing were: 30, 33, 43, 47 and 69. The Gold Mega Ball was 15, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05.
The New Jersey winning tickets were purchased at the following locations:
- $25,000 – Cape May County: Bubba’s Liquor Store, 1715 New York Ave., North Wildwood,
- $25,000 – Essex County: 7-Eleven #34211, 15 Bloomfield Ave., Montclair;
- $25,000 – Monmouth County: BP Gas Station, 1103 Route 34 & Cambridge Dr., Matawan;
- $5,000 – Cape May County: Bubba’s Liquor Store, 1715 New York Ave., North Wildwood;
- $5,000 – Cumberland County: Shop Rite of Millville, 2130 North 2nd St., Millville;
- $5,000 – Essex County: Hallmark Mini Mart, 10 Hill St., Newark;
- $5,000 – Hudson County: Ramirez & Son’s Service Station, 165 60th St., West New York;
- $5,000 – Mercer County: Hightstown Shell, 1 Lake Dr., Hightstown; and
- $5,000 – Monmouth County: 7-Eleven #36063, 93 Route 36 North, Keyport.
In addition, 13 other players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. One of those tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $2,500. Moreover, 59,665 other New Jersey players took home $119,541 in prizes ranging from $1 to $250, according to Hedinger.
“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold the winning tickets,” said Hedinger. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”
The next drawing will be held April 11 at 11:00 p.m. All New Jersey Lottery Mega Millions tickets must be purchased before 10:45 pm to participate in the drawing. Mega Millions tickets cost just one dollar; by adding the Megaplier option for an extra dollar per play, players can increase their non-jackpot winnings up to five times. Powerball and Mega Millions drawings can be seen on WABC-TV stations. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 46 participating jurisdictions. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
