State Forester to Speak on Pine Beetle Threat at Pinelands Municipal Council Meeting

WOODBINE – Mayor William Pikolycky is pleased to announce that the featured speaker at the Pinelands Municipal Council meeting to be held July 26 at Weymouth Township Municipal Building, 45 S. Jersey Avenue, Dorothy, NJ, will be Lynn Fleming, State Forester of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
Forester Fleming will speak on the NJDEP efforts and program to suppress southern pine beetles, which have become a major infestation threat in the pinelands region.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. All are invited to attend.
