Join us for a morning of insects and bees with Gary Schempp, owner of Busy Bees NJ. Gary will be presenting “Household Pests and Honeybees” at Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County, 355 Courthouse/So. Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 9 – noon. Come out and learn about the biology and structural pest management of household pests including ants, roaches, crickets, centipedes, spiders, fleas, ticks and bedbugs. Wood destroying insects such as termites, powder post beetles and carpenter bees will also be discussed. Honeybee rescue options as well as control measures, regulations and health concerns will be covered. Pesticide credits offered are 6-7A (Household Pest) and 4-7B (Termites).
