Fall is coming, and with it comes chilly days and even chillier nights. Lucky for you, Bowman’s Cooling & Heating can help you stay warm and cozy this fall and winter season! It’s time to call Bowman’s and get your fall heater check to make sure everything is running properly. For $95 (plus tax) the service includes one standard air filter and an inspection of all parts, electrical connections, burner, gas valve, heat exchanger and refrigerant levels for heat pump systems (must book by Nov. 1).
But wait, there’s more! Check out Bowman’s two new services, offered at discounted prices with your fall heater check. Save money now, and save money in the long run by protecting your unit from Mother Nature.
The Condenser Cleaning and Protectant service is a two-part process. First, Cal-Clean is used to dissolve dirt, grease and salt residue from the condenser. Then, the unit is sprayed with Cal-Shield, formulated with DuPont Teflon surface protector. This forms a protective shield that helps the coil resist the depositing of dirt and grime so that moisture will “bead up” and run off. The shield enables the coil to perform more efficiently for a longer period of time, especially in our aggressive and corrosive salt-air environment. If completed during your fall check, the procedure will cost just $50 per unit (non-tax) while it costs $75 per unit if completed at any other time.
The Corrosion Protection service uses a Fin Saver to protect your unit from corrosion, improving the efficiency and life span. The salt air in our seashore environment can be damaging to your unit, corroding and decaying your system. The Fin Saver is installed on refrigerant lines outside of the house and acts like a “sacrificial metal.” The corrosion will attack the Fin Saver rather than the good metals in the unit. This procedure is priced at $60 (non-tax).
