Fencing In Your Pool?

Pool fence

By by Holly Cotter Sponsored

Here are three things to keep in mind when deciding on a fence for your pool.
1. Pool Code
In general, the pool code states that your fence must be at least 48” in height, gate latches must be 54” above the ground, and gates must swing out. Many Townships require a permit for fence when a pool is involved; always check with your local code enforcement office for your town’s specific rules and regulations.
2. Safety and Security
Owning a pool with small children can be a little nerve-racking at times.  Give yourself some extra piece of mind with products offered by Murphy Fence such as the MagnaLatch® ALERT which offers dual electronic warnings: bright, flashing LED lights, and an audible alarm that sounds if a gate is opened or left unlatched. So you can see at a glance and hear from a distance, if your gate is not secured.
3. Hire a licensed and trusted fence professional
From the moment you start planning for your new pool you should also start thinking about fencing. Whether you are in the market for a new fence or just need to update your existing one, Murphy Fence Company is ready to help with a full line of code complaint gate hardware and fencing. Spring and Summer will be here before you know it, beat the rush and give us a call at 609-886-1635 for your free estimate today!
