MARMORA – Trinity United Methodist Church is sponsoring a community vegetable garden on church grounds this summer. The church originally created the garden last summer and with the help of church and community volunteers, the garden produced enough produce to supply fresh vegetables to local food pantries. The garden is divided into 8-foot plots and the church is currently seeking volunteers to “adopt-a-plot.” Volunteers plant the garden and then help throughout the growing season with harvesting and upkeep. All skill levels are invited to participate. This year weed matting and drip line irrigation will reduce labor and maximize efficiency.
