CAPE MAY – Come join us on a journey back to a simpler time in Cape May–as we take a peek at floral arrangements depicting Victorian pastimes.
The Garden Club of Cape May is presenting a Flower Show “Victorian Pastimes: The Way It Was” at the Cape May Convention Hall, 714 Beach Drive, April 30 from noon to 5 p.m.
The show features floral design entries in eight artistic classes from tussie-mussies to window box gardens and horticulture exhibits in multiple categories. In addition to the flower presentations, the Cape May City Elementary School First Grade will display their pressed flower creations and the Cape May County Technical High School students will participate with their “Pockets filled with Posies” designs. The Flower Show Chairman is Mrs. Felicia Safaryn.
Free admission, light refreshments and parking. Lively marketplace will include select vendors and garden supplies.
The Garden Club of Cape May City is dedicated to promoting activity in all aspects of gardening and conservation through meetings, guest speakers and community service projects, while establishing ties through old and new friendships.
