WOODBINE– Mayor William Pikolycky is pleased to announce that the Borough of Woodbine has set its Trick or Treat hours as between the hours of 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 31.
The Woodbine Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization is once again sponsoring a “Trunk or Treat” event along the bikepath that evening, starting at 5 p.m. and going until 7 p.m. Adults can fill their vehicle trunks with goodies and give them out to the children as they walk the bikepath. All community members are welcome to come out and park your cars (decorations are optional) and participate in the Festivities for a Safe Environment Halloween. For more information and to register your vehicle, please call the school at 861-5174 by October 29.
Event is open to all Woodbine residents, and all activities are free of charge.
Residents may still provide Halloween treats at their homes during the set Trick or Treat hours.
“I again commend the PTO on making use of our bikepath for this alternative Halloween event, and urge local residents to take advantage of this opportunity to both distribute, and have their children receive, their Trick or Treat goodies in a community-based safe environment and to share in the evening’s fun,” commented Mayor Pikolycky. “It has been well attended in the past and hopefully it will continue to be a substitute tradition for our time-honored house to house version.”
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
