Winterwood All Year — But Especially at Christmas

By Press Release

‘Twas the night before Christmas, but why wait til then…
Winterwood is a full service gift and Christmas shoppe. In addition to Christmas items, they have a wonderful selection of home decor, specialty gifts, art and prints, pottery and handcrafted jewelry, making it an extraordinary destination for your Christmas shopping.
Now through November 30, you can enter to win at both Rio Grande and Cape May locations, with any purchase, one of four Willow Tree ® Christmas Story figurines. The drawing is held Wednesday, Nov. 30.
Willow Tree Christmas Story figurines are hand-carved by artist Susan Lordi. She uses her sculpture to reflect relationships with the world in general.
Lordi’s carved expressions capture a moment in time. In this, she uses family and friends as models.
The Christmas Story figurine of Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus expresses the meaning of Christmas and this special time of year shared with loved ones. You’ll find this selection and many more of the Willow Tree collection at both Winterwood locations.
The Rio Grande location, 3137 Rt. 9 South, is the original Winterwood store established in 1978. It is located in the historic Hildreth House built in the early 1700s by one of Cape May County’s founding families. The spirit of Christmas surrounds you as you wander through our many rooms filled with home decor, art, gifts, collectibles, and Christmas ornaments.
The Cape May store is located at 526 Washington Street and anchored at the corner of the pedestrian shopping mall. The building, built in 1895 for the First Jersey Trust Company Bank, has also served as city hall for the historic city of Cape May.
There are two floors of gifts, art, hand-crafted jewelry, home decor, thousands of Christmas ornaments and decorations.
A popular shopping selection throughout the year is their personalized Christmas ornament. Choose an ornament for the sports fan, hobbyist, professionals, just-married couples, pet lovers, or baby’s first Christmas.
There are many more to choose from so bring your shopping list. Each can be personalized to make a special gift for any occasion to be remembered year after year.
Both Winterwood locations — Rio Grande and Cape May — are open daily from 10 a.m. The Wildwood location is open seasonally, and you can always shop online any time at www.winterwoodgift.com.
