CAPE MAY – Nov. 21 at 6:00 p.m., Cape May’s premier winemaker, Darren Hesington of the Cape May Winery will be the guest speaker at this Thursday night’s Harborside Chat at the Nature Center of Cape May. For many of us, what to buy and how to serve it can present a challenge, especially during the holidays, so come out and get the “scoop” from the expert and maybe a taste or two of Cape May Winery’s finest varietals. A prominent fixture at the Cape May Winery since 2003, Hesington honed his wine making skills under the tutelage of Keith Brown while learning the art of wine making “Down Under” in Hunter Valley, Australia. This will be your best opportunity to ask questions and dispel some of the mystery surrounding wine making and selections.
The Nature Center’s Harborside Chats begin at 6:00 in the Charlotte Van Leer Todd Building, 1600 Delaware Avenue in Cape May on the harbor! Chats are free, donations are appreciated and light refreshments are provided.
