This week we’re in our rabbit mode

By Jim Vanore

This is considered by many the most solemn week of the year, preparing the way for rebirth in several ways, among which is the rejuvenation of the natural beauty that makes the south Jersey shore a destination for vacationers and those who just want to escape the urban lifestyle for that of an easy-does-it kind of weekend.
Ocean City is gearing up for its Doo-Dah Parade, and Wildwood is getting all musical instruments in tune for their salute to the 60s weekend. Catch On Deck next week when we highlight both of those season-opening events.
This week we’re in our rabbit mode, so whether it’s an Easter egg hunt, Easter fashion show, Easter sunrise service, or breakfast with that large bunny that seems to be omnipresent this time of year, you couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate.
Always check our Web site (capemaycountyherald.com) for news, community features, and all the local conversation that makes this cape neighborhood so lively—any time of year.
Relax, don’t step on any eggs, and enjoy yourself.
Happy Easter.
