STONE HARBOR – Stone Harbor elected officials joined American Legion Post No. 331 (Stone Harbor/Avalon) in a Memorial Day parade and ceremony held on May 27. The parade was held on 96th Street in Stone Harbor and attracted several hundred residents and visitors. Members of the Post led the parade through the downtown business community.
The Middle Township Panther Marching Band provided patriotic music during the parade which also included the Stone Harbor Volunteer Fire Department, Stone Harbor Beach Patrol, and many of the Borough’s community organizations.
The parade and ceremony are held every Memorial Day in Stone Harbor to pay tribute to the men and women who lost their lives while protecting our freedom.
