STONE HARBOR – Preparations are being made for the Stone Harbor Christmas Parade, being held on Sat., Nov. 26 at 6:30 p.m.
Tourism Director Joann DelVescio said that this year’s parade is sure to be one of the best.
Though there are already many participants lined up for the parade, DelVescio said members of the community are still welcome to walk or ride in the event.
The parade route, which is running from 107th Street to 96th Street down Third Avenue and turns on 96th Street to Second Avenue with a reviewing stand on 96th Street.
The highlight of the Parade will be Santa and Mrs. Claus riding along in a horse-drawn carriage. Following the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at Coffee Talk – 299 97th Street to meet and greet the young and old alike.
