Sea Isle City Fire Dept. Holds Christmas Party for Local Kids Tonight

By Press Release

SEA ISLE CITY – Even though Super Storm Sandy destroyed portions of the Sea Isle City Volunteer Fire Department’s Headquarters on JFK Boulevard, Sea Isle’s firemen will hold their annual Christmas party for youngsters as planned. The annual celebration, which has been taking place for over 50 years, will happen tonight, Dec. 19, 2012, inside the JFK Boulevard Fire House, which has been transformed into a winter wonderland by the organization’s members.
Sea Isle’s Fire Fighters, who have been dealing with damaged equipment and who are still displaced due to storm damage at their headquarters, have worked diligently to ensure that this evening’s party will be a success. After spending weeks helping Sea Isle City recover from Super Storm Sandy – and responding to a record number of emergency calls along the way – Sea Isle’s firemen are very excited to once again welcome holiday visitors into their headquarters and celebrate the season in style with local children.
The Christmas Party will begin at 6:30 p.m., when Santa Claus arrives at the fire house on a festive holiday float. Old Saint Nick will then individually greet all of the children inside the fire house, where each guest will be given a gift and snacks.
The Sea Isle City Volunteer Fire Department HQ is located at 233 JFK Boulevard, Sea Isle City, NJ.
