Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Remembered

WHITESBORO — The annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day breakfast was held Mon., Jan. 16 at Martin Luther King Community Center, West Main Street from 8:30 a.m. until noon. It was like many others throughout the nation on the holiday that id dedicated to the memory of the slain civil rights leader.
Rev. James Hatch, associate pastor, Eureka Bap-tist Church, Wildwood, offered the Invocation.
Rita Davis, of Christ Gospel Church, Whitesboro, was announcer for the occasion.
In an adjacent room, members of the Middle Township Step Team practiced their moves in order to attain perfection when they appear in local events.
