Remember

By Herald Staff

By Nancy Salley, Wildwood Crest.
I was thinking of my childhood so many years ago
When I used to think that Christmas had to have snow
Of course I believed that the reindeer and sleigh
Could not deliver the gifts without
“Up, Up and Away!”
Now that I’m way past that youthful age
It’s time in life to turn the other page
So I can be content for a Christmas warm and dry
To shop in comfort and remember happy days gone by
Childhood is such a precious time
The memories I have will always be mine
Merry Christmas
