COURT HOUSE – Hundreds of people visited the Cape May County Park and Zoo on Sat., March 31 for the annual “Easter Bunny in the Park” event sponsored by the Board of Chosen Freeholders. The day kicked off with an Easter Egg Hunt in the park followed by visits with the Easter Bunny at the Zoo’s Reptile House.
The “Easter Bunny in the Park” event included educational displays, live animal ambassadors, crafts and more. New this year, the county used Eco Easter Eggs made from corn instead of plastic eggs in the Easter Egg Hunt.
“This was the 9th year that the County hosted this free event and we were pleased to see so many of our residents and visitors come out for this very popular family event,” said Freeholder Vice-Director M. Susan Sheppard.
