My Blessing at Christmas

The happy times I remember were over 30 years as a teacher.
I can remember when my parents gathered at school with their children. We would have a Christmas party together before leaving for Christmas break.
Many of the moms and dads also other family members came too. We made sure each child had someone with them at this time.
Everyone that came out participated with the children. We sang, made holiday items together and shared much laughter and fun. Especially when the parents danced the chicken dance.
Santa would visit the children and they would tell Santa their wish. They had a picture with him too.
It was the happiest time of the school year. A little love for all.  Through all these years I still treasure the many pictures I have, my teacher assistants who helped make such a wonderful Christmas in our class.
We were all a big, happy family with new ideas and traditions.
So at this Christmas season along with my family we wish each and every child and family that we have touched a very Merry Christmas and joyful thanks for all you have done. I love you all. It’s been a true blessing.
