COURT HOUSE – Middle Township will host its annual Easter Egg Scramble March 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. The event will be held at the MLK Community Center at 207 Main Street in Whitesboro.
Children are invited to scramble for hundreds of Easter eggs containing prizes, candy, and a few special treasures. Age categories for the scramble are 1 to 2; 3 to 4; 5 to 6; 7 to 8; and 9 to 10. New this year is a Special Needs Scramble Area open to all ages. The scramble begins promptly at 2 p.m.
“The Easter Egg Scramble has become a great Middle Township tradition,” Mayor Tim Donohue said. “I’m excited that we can now make this event more inclusive than ever. No child should have barriers to taking part in the fun.”
The event will also feature a Spring-themed craft, free lunch consisting of a hot dog and water, and a visit from the Easter Bunny!
In the case of inclement weather, the scramble will be held inside the MLK Center. For more information, contact the Middle Township Recreation Department at (609) 465-8743 or (609) 465-8747.
