Merry Christmas from the Erma Volunteer Fire Company

By Press Release

ERMA – During the holiday season some members of our armed forces will not be able to spend the holidays at home with their families. As a reminder to them, that we appreciate the sacrifice they have made and are currently making, we encourage you to write a get well letter or a Christmas card to those members recovering in the Walter Reed Medical Center. This medical center is responsible for housing and helped injured military wounded in combat. We will be collecting letters and cards during the Lower Township Rotary Christmas Parade, as well as the West Cape May Christmas Parade. Our members will be collecting them as we travel through the parade, so have them ready to drop in our letter bags.
Please address the letter or card as follows:
A Recovering American Solider
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Ave. NW
Washington, D.C. 20307-5001
We thank you for the support and wish you and yours a Merry Christmas from the Erma Volunteer Fire Company.
